This 2024, San Luis Potosí will host the México Selection by CMB.
Every year, a diverse jury is appointed to ensure that each tasting is an enriching process. With 31 years of experience from the Concours Mondial de Bruxelles, it seeks to create a meeting point for every member of the industry.
Some of the main goals of México Selection by CMB are:
- To promote quality, judging beverages according to their typicality, style, and price.
- To boost production, using invaluable feedback from renowned judges to improve production methods and increase quality.
- To increase visibility, showcasing the variety of competing products to a diverse audience.
Mezcal Route
The mezcal factories in Potosí have a history of over two hundred years. Visiting them and seeing their imposing masonry ovens and smelling the honey from the freshly cooked agave heart will forever change the way you drink a "cuernito de mezcal" (small horn of mezcal). Two centuries of experiences contained in an elixir clearer than water, but stronger than thunder.
